Rockledge, FL — A routine day at Rockledge High School quickly turned alarming when three students were arrested after police discovered a firearm on campus Friday. The incident led to a swift response by local law enforcement and school officials, ensuring the safety of the students and faculty.

According to the Rockledge Police Department, the situation unfolded around 12:15 p.m. when they received a report of a person in possession of a firearm on school grounds. In response, the school initiated a shelter-in-place order, and shortly after, the campus was placed on lockdown as officers investigated the report.

After a thorough search of the premises, the lockdown was lifted when police located the firearm. The discovery resulted in the arrest of three students, including 19-year-old Damien Ffrench. The identities of the other two students, aged 17 and 15, are Keshaun J. Artis and Kristian McKesson respectively.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and students were safely released from school following the incident. Authorities have confirmed that the three students involved are facing multiple charges, including possession of a firearm on school property and disruption of school function.
