About the Made for More Movement, Inc.

The Made for More Movement, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded to foster confidence, ambition, and drive among young women and female youth, encouraging them to reach their fullest potential. The organization was created to honor Rikki, aged 25, and Megan, aged 26, who were struck and killed by a drunk driver while participating in a fun run.

The Purpose of the Amazing Grace 5K

The Amazing Grace 5K is not just a run/walk event but a celebration of the legacies of Rikki and Megan Grace. By participating, runners and walkers will be part of a movement that promotes the idea that everyone is made for more, just like Rikki and Megan. The proceeds from this race will be received by the Made for More Movement, Inc. and will fund individual memorial scholarships in their names.

Scholarships for Local Students

The scholarships will be available to local students to help them continue their education and pursue their goals. Both Rikki and Megan were alumni of the Eastern Florida State College, and it is fitting that the scholarships will be set up at the Palm Bay Campus, the same campus that will host the 5K event. These scholarships will serve as a lasting tribute to their dedication to education and community service.

Event Details and Registration

The Amazing Grace 5K will kick off at 8:00 AM, and participants are encouraged to join early. The registration fee is $35, and interested individuals can register online through the provided link. Additionally, more information can be found on the Made for More Movement’s Facebook page and website.

For those interested in supporting the event, whether through participation or media coverage, the organizers are open to collaboration and support leading up to and on the day of the race.

Join the Movement

The Amazing Grace 5K is more than just a race; it is a heartfelt initiative to keep the memories of Rikki and Megan alive and to inspire young women to achieve their highest potential. The Made for More Movement, Inc. invites everyone to join this significant event, celebrate the lives of Rikki and Megan, and contribute to a cause that continues their mission of empowerment and education.
