Solar salesman steals dog, busted by Rockledge Police

Published on

On October 20th, the Rockledge Police Department responded to a report of a stolen dog. A family’s terrier, named Angus, had been taken from their yard.

According to the arrest affidavit, the defendant was captured on a neighbor’s video picking up the dog, taking it to a car, and then returning to the owners home to sell them solar panels.

The owners asked if he had seen their dog and he said “no, have a blessed day.”

Rockledge Police Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect, recover Angus (who had been taken to Palm Bay), and reunite him with his family. He is doing well and is paw-sitively happy to be home!

Ethan K. Morales (booking photo attached), Palm Bay, was arrested on charges of grand theft and animal cruelty.
