Julie moved to Brevard County in 1992 after graduating College in New Jersey to be closer to family. She has a bachelor’s in psychology and Elementary Education from St. Elizabeth College, as well as a master’s in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Julie has lived in Melbourne for over 3 decades teaching at local schools since 1996. A 29-year veteran in education, Julie has served for 26 years in Brevard as a leader, mentor, teacher, and Assistant Principal.

Currently, Julie is working at Brevard Adult and Community Education as an Assistant Principal. Her students are given the opportunity to obtain their high school diploma through her program as well as many workforce training opportunities. She also serves as the treasurer for the Space Coast League of Cities. Julie lives in Melbourne with her two children Kyle and Emily, and her significant other, Darin. Darin is a retired Air Force veteran and currently works for NASA on the Artemis program as a Software/Hardware Systems Engineer. Julie is also an avid outdoors enthusiast enjoying 5Ks, snorkeling, diving, camping, and all things nature.
