Born in 1947 in Eau Gallie, Ham Boone’s journey was defined by a steadfast commitment to service and community. Shortly after graduating from high school in 1967, he joined the Marines, where he cultivated a deep sense of discipline and dedication. Following his military service, Boone pursued higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia State University. He later completed a postgraduate degree as a Physician’s Assistant (PA) at the Medical College of Georgia.

Boone’s career as a PA spanned decades, during which he worked at medical centers across the country, providing critical surgical support to hospitals and surgeons. In 1989, he pioneered a new PA practice model in Atlanta, revolutionizing care delivery. By 1998, Boone brought this innovative approach back home, where he continued to serve his community with distinction.

His passion for service extended beyond his medical career. Boone dedicated significant time to volunteering and community engagement, particularly focusing on supporting disabled veterans. Recognized by Central Florida’s VA Regional Medical Center for his contributions, Boone became a champion for veterans, advocating for their rights and coaching them through adaptive training programs.
