Cocoa Beach first responders save 9-year-old drowning victim

At 10:04 a.m. the Cocoa Beach Fire and Police Department were dispatched to a report of a nine-year-old patient that possibly drowned while swimming at the City pool during Summer Camp activities.

First responders were able to establish a pulse and breathing after lifesaving measures were started by Cocoa Beach lifeguards. The patient was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the patient and their family during this difficult time and wishing a speedy recovery.
