Byron Donalds Blames Biden for Vetting an Afghan Ally Who Was Actually Approved Under Trump’s DHSCongressman Byron Donalds is suddenly demanding answers about “unvetted Afghans” after the tragic shooting of two National Guardsmen this week. But the facts tell a very different story.Back in 2021, Donalds attacked the Biden administration for requiring Afghan allies to be vetted and show paperwork. He complained that Biden’s team was slowing everything down with “vetting and paperwork."Today, Donalds is claiming Biden didn’t vet Afghan arrivals at all.Here is what he is not mentioning:The suspect involved in the D.C. attack was granted asylum in April 2025 under the Trump administration.
