As Vice Chair of DEC Engagement, Pamela will partner with the Chair, DCCA, and Small County Coalition to provide trainings and oversee the development of resources and strategy for DEC growth.

Pamela Castellana has been an active leader in Democratic Party organizing since 2017, serving as Chair of the Brevard County Democratic Executive Committee from 2020 to 2024. Under her leadership, Brevard Democrats achieved historic levels of voter engagement and turnout, despite the county’s deep-red political landscape.

During her tenure, volunteers knocked on 293,356 doors, made 45,156 phone calls, and mobilized over 800 unique volunteers to canvass and call voters across the county. In the 2024 election, Brevard Democrats turned out at a record-breaking 83.6%, surpassing the historic 2020 turnout. These efforts contributed to key victories, with 43 elected Democrats now serving across 20 districts and municipalities.

Even in the face of a hostile political climate, Brevard Democrats held Donald Trump to just a two-point gain, resisting the statewide and national shifts to the right. Following the election, the momentum has continued, with local Democrats actively donating, organizing, and ensuring voter access to mail ballots.

While Pamela chose not to run for a second term as Chair, she remains a passionate advocate for county DECs and volunteers—the backbone of the party. She is committed to defending Florida, amplifying Democratic voices, and ensuring that the state is never counted out in the fight for progressive values.
