Arrest warrant issued in infamous Palm Bay hit and run

PALM BAY, FLORIDA – On January 28th at 10:20am, officers responded to the intersection of Eldron Bivd SE and Collins St SE for a hit a run involving an injured motorcyclist. A white Ford truck was seen running over the motorcyclist who was waiting to make a turn at the stop sign. The driver then fled the scene. Surveillance footage was obtained; however, officers were unable to identify the driver at the time.

Through leads generated by our community and investigative efforts by our officers, we have identified the driver as 23-year-old, Armando Martinez. An arrest warrant was issued for the charges of Leaving the Scene of a Crash with injuries, Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Property Damage and Driving While License Suspended.
