FHP reports that a 17 year old boy was walking in the shoulder of I-95 near Wickham Rd for unknown reasons.

Officials say that he suddenly stepped out in front of a Ford Taurus and was struck.

The driver stopped and attempted to help him, but he died from his injuries at the scene.
