Fatal Motorcycle Crash on I-95 in Brevard County Under Investigation

Titusville, FL – A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 63-year-old rider on I-95 in Brevard County on March 28, 2025, according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The incident occurred at approximately 5:11 p.m. on northbound I-95 near mile marker 213, just north of State Road 407. The rider, a male from Titusville, was operating a 2008 Honda motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle veered off the roadway to the left and into the median, where the rider fell from the bike. He was subsequently transported to a local medical center, where he was pronounced deceased.

The FHP report indicates that the rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and the crash did not result in additional injuries.

Witnesses state that the rider’s front wheel went into a “death wobble” leading to him losing control and crashing into the guardrail. CPR was performed on the scene.

This incident serves as a somber reminder of the risks associated with motorcycling, particularly on high-speed roadways like I-95. The Florida Highway Patrol urges all motorists to exercise caution, adhere to traffic laws, and remain vigilant to ensure the safety of all road users.
