Another Brightline train fatal accident at exact same crossing as two days ago

Two reported fatalities at the exact same location from the train crash 2 days ago. WH Jackson and US1 crossing headed south.

According to witnesses, the white Chevy Avalanche was traveling from east to west and tried to beat the train, driving around the crossing arms.

The train struck the vehicle and drug it nearly half a mile south with debris from the vehicle littering the tracks along the way.

The occupants were killed instantly. There are no reported injuries on the Brightline train.

The victims have not been identified and the scene is still being investigated.
