8-year-old arrested after cutting throat of another child in Central Florida

A child was reportedly detained after allegedly attacking another child at a home on Saturday, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim, who was a foster child at the home, was choked by an 8-year-old boy, who later released him after the victim complained that he was having trouble breathing.


When the victim approached the 8-year-old, the boy is accused of grabbing a knife, swinging it, and slitting his throat.

According to the affidavit, the victim’s friend allegedly took the boy’s knife.

The boy allegedly said he would “kill everyone” while searching for the knife.

The boy then tried to hit the victim with a stick, according to the affidavit.

The 8-year-old was however stopped by children who were waiting nearby.
