16-year-old boy shoots 10 people at Sanford restaurant

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities reported that a teenager was responsible for a shooting incident at a local restaurant, injuring 10 individuals.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office stated that deputies were dispatched to Cabana Live, located at 4380 Carraway Place, for a routine patrol around a large gathering when they heard gunshots from behind the restaurant shortly after midnight, leading to immediate chaos and dispersal of the crowd.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that multiple guests and a security officer—who managed to detain the alleged shooter—were among those hit. The sheriff’s office explained that the altercation initially started with a verbal exchange that rapidly intensified, resulting in the shooter wounding 10 people, all of whom sustained non-fatal injuries to their lower bodies.

As of the latest updates, the young perpetrator was being processed at a juvenile detention facility.
