Indialantic 34-year-old identified as victim in yesterday’s fatal train incident

Melbourne Police have identified Mark L. Segretto as the 34-year-old man who according to reports, intentionally laid down on the tracks in front of an oncoming Brightline train.

The incident occurred in Melbourne, close to downtown near the Fee Ave and U.S.-1 crossing.

Witnesses reported seeing the man lie down on the track. The train attempted to stop, but could not do so before striking the man.

He died at the scene of the result of his injuries.
