A weekend normally packed with holiday events is being impacted by a low pressure system coming from the Gulf of Mexico. Nearly every outside event has been cancelled or rescheduled in Brevard County in anticipation of the storm.
Tropical Storm conditions expected this weekend
Strong winds, heavy rain, localized flooding, high-surf conditions, and possible hail and tornado watches, are all likely.
The storms are expected to begin around 4 p.m. Saturday and continue through 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Up to 3 inches of rain is expected, and with that much rain in such a short period of time, flooding is likely to occur throughout Central Florida.
Winds are expected to reach 55+ mph. Ensure that you Christmas decorations are secured.
