Positive Brevard County Covid-19 Cases Stays at 7 – Statewide Numbers Increase by 164 and 1 Death

The latest numbers as of 11AM today show that Brevard County is still at 7 positive tests. These are the same numbers as of yesterday at 6PM. Neighboring Indian River County went from 0 to 5 to 8 in a matter of 2 days.

Positive tests statewide have increased from 1007 to 1171, and deaths have increased from 13 to 14.

Residents not happy with the response from the County have been asking for more specific information. Below is a graphic showing where all 7 positive cases in Brevard County are located. This is the latest data available from the Florida Department of Health.

To date, there still has not been a single press conference from Brevard County’s leaders to get information out to its citizens. Orange County has had briefings almost daily informing the public of developments and resources available to those who may be negatively affected.

Overnight, all State Parks have officially closed.

In a press conference this morning, Governor Destantis announced the first drive up testing facility for Florida in The Villages.
