PINEAPPLE COVE ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR COMMUNITY-FOCUSED PUBLIC POOL TO BE BUILT IN PALM BAY

PALM BAY, Fla. (May 3, 2023) – Pineapple Cove President and Founder John Moran announced plans for an amenity-filled community pool and recreation space to be built in Palm Bay, Fla., adjacent to the Pineapple Cove Classical Academy’s Palm Bay Campus. Designed around the idea of putting the community first, Waves at Pineapple Cove will feature amenities intended to grow community interaction and provide refuge from the Florida heat.

“Pineapple Cove is dedicated to bringing our community together,” said Moran. “This pool will not only provide residents with many recreational options, but also build relationships between our families as they come out of their homes for a day of fun and relaxation.”

Space Coast residents will have the unique opportunity to enjoy features such as an Olympic-sized pool for recreation and open to local swim teams for training and competition, concessions stand refreshments, large umbrellas providing shade from the summer heat, a kiddie splash-pad area, an outdoor gym facility similar to those found on Venice Beach, Calif., and a safe space for kids from the community to enjoy their summer.

“These spaces will offer the best for children and their families,” Moran added. “Plus, imagine enjoying a centrally-located, safe community pool, where people can come together, interact socially, and promote healthy activity. We look forward to providing swim lessons for all ages and a pool accessible to local swim clubs with training and competitions.”

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy began as a daycare and preschool program in Brevard County. Based on the idea of “Always Give Back More Than You Take,” Pineapple Cove has grown its passion for community involvement. As an “A-rated” K-12 charter school in Brevard, PCCA students maintain high levels of success and have the highest graduation level among charter schools.

The hope with Waves at Pineapple Cove is to create a better community where everyone can enjoy amenity access. Moran believes this new step will build community pride and strengthen bonds between Space Coast residents.
