Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo endorses Bill Posey for re-election

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has endorsed Rep. Bill Posey for re-election in 2022. Posey, 75 years old is running for his 8th consecutive term in Congress.

Pompeo left Congress when then President Trump appointed him first to serve as director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He was confirmed in 2017, and a year later, Trump appointed him to head the State Department. He is rumored to be preparing for a run for President in 2024.
