Forgot To Get Your 2nd COVID-19 Vaccination? It’s Not Too Late
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Health officials says it’s not too late for those who received a first dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine to go back for their second dose – even if you’re beyond the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommended window. The second dose provides stronger protection against the variants.

DOH-Brevard offers Moderna and Janssen COVID-19 vaccinations, based on availability, at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera. Beginning Thursday, July 29, DOH-Brevard will be offering Pfizer vaccine to those 12 and older at all three DOH clinic locations in Melbourne, Viera and Titusville. No appointments required. Ample supplies of vaccine also are available at area pharmacies, urgent cares centers and from your private physician. Residents who are ages 12 and older are recommended to get vaccinated.
