DESCRIPTION:It’s 2024 and we are calling all the tribes to gather yet again in Cocoa Beach on Surfing Santa Day to surf together. We want hundreds of Surfing Santas to show up and surf and thousands of spectators to come and watch. Let’s all share the love\, joy\, and hope on the beach\, together again\, 7:30am\, December 24th\, at the end of Minutemen Cswy\, (located in front of Coconuts on the Beach.) \nWhat started as a fun family outing in 2009 has grown to become an annual event that raises tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and draws surfing and Christmas enthusiasts from all over the planet. \nOver the past decade\, Surfing Santas has grown into one of the most unique and fun-filled charity events the world has ever seen. This congregation of costumed kahunas has grown to record-breaking numbers with over 800 Surfing Santas and nearly 10\,000 spectators. Sponsorship from the city of Cocoa Beach and the participation of local businesses have come to make this a true community event. Moreover\, the event benefits the Florida Surf Museum which is “Preserving Floridas Surfing History” and Grind for Life\, a local charity benefiting people suffering from cancer. \nThe Surfing Santas are sure to set more records in the holiday sun this year. There will undoubtedly be sights unseen before on beaches anywhere else in the world. \nThe first professional surfer\, Phil Edwards\, once said\, “The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun.” On December 24th at 8:00am\, the world’s “best surfers” of all skill levels and all ages will be in Cocoa Beach fully clad in their finest holiday gear and having the most fun the Christmas surf and sun can provide. Get your costumes ready and plan to join the fun this Christmas Eve. \nThe community’s support has been overwhelming\, and Surfing Santas Cocoa Beach thanks everyone who wants to ride the Surfing Santa wave.\nSurfingSantas.org

DESCRIPTION:The Amazing Grace 5K will honor the legacies of both Rikki Grace and Dr. Megan Grace who were tragically killed on October 18\, 2022. By participating in The Amazing Grace 5K run/walk\, you will join the movement that you\, like Rikki and Megan\, are made for more. The race proceeds will be received by Made for More Movement Inc and then dispersed into individual memorial scholarships for each of the girls. These scholarships will be set up with the Eastern Florida State College where both girls were alumni. The scholarships will then be available to help local students continue their education and pursue their goals. The Amazing Grace 5K will kick off at 8am on Saturday\, October 19 at the Eastern Florida State College\, Palm Bay Campus.
